The flood completely bowed away 60 vehicles and 500 tourist. Fortunately there were no casualties and It all happened on Friday 5th of August. The California department of transportation immediately to preventive measures and reduced damage. The National Park is usually dry and it does not receive more than a few inches of rain every year. But many experts are blaming global warming and climate change for this situation as we have seen already that floods have become really common in desert areas as well.
