As per the sources, there were pictures of the accident or the crash that were leaked online and the pictures were the reason why Kobe’s wife suffered depression as her husband and her daughter as well passed away in the plane crash. Vanessa said that she had panic attacks after seeing the pictures from the crash site Christopher Chester Co-Plaintiff’s family was also involved in the crash and he had his daughter and his wife on the plane. She added that she didn’t want to see the photographs anymore and wants to remember her daughter and her husband as if they were not someone who is deceased. Many pieces of evidence and pictures came ahead in which the county sheriffs took pictures from the crash site and showed it to many bars and gala events as well. Vanessa’s lawyer Luis Li said that the sheriffs poured salt over the wound and rubbed it hard by clicking those gruesome pictures from the site. Although the opposition lawyer claimed that the pictures were to be taken for evidence purposes it was gruesome to show it off all over the city and using the pictures for won entertaining purposes was considered wrong. Overall, Vanessa was given 16 million dollars for the emotional damages caused to her at the time of her husband’s death by those pictures.
