His wife passed away on Monday, 20th September 1999 and she took her last breath at University Hospital in Muenster which is in Germany. She passed away due to leukaemia and now her husband also left this world on Tuesday, 30th August 2022. Mikhail direct the Soviet Union from the year 1985 to the year 1991 and served as the 1st general secretary of the Communist Party, later on, he bagged the position of President of the Soviet Union.

She tied the wedding knot with Mikhail in the month of September 1953. Both shared a daughter together who was born on 6th January 1957. Now the world is mourning the demise of her husband who gave his all life to serve his nation. Mikhail worked as the last leader of the Soviet Union. He was born in a poor peasant family of Ukrainian and Russian heritage in Privolnoye which is located in Stavropol Krai. The reason for the sudden death of Mikhail is not known yet.
